The Surety Association of Washington (SAW) is a Washington State non-profit corporation whose members are engaged in the business of suretyship. Based out of Seattle, Wa and established in 1905, SAW is the longest standing surety association in the United States.
We operate with a board of 4 members elected from the Association’s surety member companies. Member companies includes attorneys, consultants, CPAs, surety bond agents, insurance agents, and various other national and regional surety related Associations, working together to provide surety related solutions for small, medium, and large businesses throughout Washington State.
Our Mission is to:
- Educate and inform our members and the community about issues relating to corporate suretyship,
- Monitor legislature or other regulatory activity and where appropriate take steps to influence its outcome,
- Promote awareness and understanding of the benefits of corporate suretyship.
